A 30-minute dog walk with PetSitter Portland costs $28 for one dog. If you’re looking for someone to walk your dog three weekdays while you’re at work, budget $84 per week before any applicable fees.
| 30-minute walks per week | Weekly cost for one dog |
|---|---|
| 2 walks | $56 |
| 3 walks | $84 |
| 5 walks | $140 |
The $28 rate stays the same when you book a recurring schedule, and it’s the same for morning and midday walks. If you’re figuring out where to start, we recommend three walks a week on the days you’re away from home the longest.
What could your weekly dog-walking schedule look like?
In the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays? You might book a midday walk on both office days so your dog gets a break while you’re out. If Wednesday is usually packed with meetings, you could add a third walk that day. For one dog, that’s $56 for two 30-minute walks or $84 for three, before any applicable fees.
Away from home Monday through Friday? A recurring walk each weekday gives your dog a regular break during the workday. Five 30-minute walks for one dog come to $140 per week before any applicable fees.
We schedule walks within two-hour arrival windows. If you’re looking for a recurring morning or midday walk, tell us your Portland neighborhood and the weekdays you need. We’ll check which windows we can offer consistently in your area.
What’s included in a dog walk?
Your dog gets a private, one-on-one walk around your neighborhood, with time to sniff and explore at their own pace. After each GPS-tracked visit, you’ll get a report with photos and a note about how the walk went. If your dog needs fresh water or a meal while we’re there, let us know when you book.
What can change the price?
A 30-minute visit is $28 for one dog. A 50-minute visit is $38, and a 75-minute visit is $48. Each additional pet is $5 per visit. So if you book three 30-minute walks each week for two dogs, that’s $99 per week before any applicable fees.
Requests or changes made with less than 72 hours’ notice carry a $10 surcharge. A $10 holiday surcharge applies to visits on the holiday itself or the day before or after. If your walker needs to pay for parking to reach your home, we pass along the actual parking cost.
How do you pick your walking days?
Start with the days you’re regularly away from home the longest. If you’re in the office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, those are good days to start with. If you need coverage every weekday, five 30-minute walks for one dog come to $140 per week before any applicable fees.
